St. Modwen and Worcester City Football Club public exhibition at the Whitehouse Hotel , October 2008

Consultation

A public consultation exercise was carried out prior to the submission of the planning application to Worcester City Council in order to gauge the views of supporters, local residents and other local stakeholders on the proposed scheme.

The consultation involved:

Public Exhibitions

Separate public exhibition events were held at the Whitehouse Hotel in Worcester City Centre and the Lyppard Grange Community Centre in Warndon during October and November 2008.

Over 200 people attended the exhibitions alongside representatives from St. Modwen and Worcester Football Club who explained the proposals and answered questions. Visitors to both events were given information booklets on the proposals and feedback forms to complete.

Stakeholder Engagement

St. Modwen has also undertaken a programme of stakeholder engagement on the proposals. This included presentations and briefings to local parish councils, and letters to local residents living close to the site as well as other key stakeholders such as local residents groups.

Community Hotline

A freephone community telephone hotline was set up in October 2008 for people to find out more about the proposals. The hotline will remain in place throughout the lifetime of the project to allow the local community to keep in touch with St. Modwen.
