Masterplan
In addition to indentifying Nunnery Way as the most appropriate and best available site for a new home for Worcester City Football Club, the adopted Worcester City Local Plan also supports the principle of appropriate enabling development on the site.
The mixed-use proposals for Nunnery Way include:
- A new office campus fronting on to Nunnery Way roundabout and additional office space ideal for local small businesses
- A health and fitness centre
- A new hotel with up to 65 bedrooms
- A restaurant
- A pub/ eatery
- Car and motorcycle showrooms
Access & Movement
Access to and from the site for cars, other vehicles and pedestrians will be created off Nunnery Way to serve both the stadium and the mixed-use development.
Parking
There will be dedicated car parking for Worcester City FC plus an allocation for essential parking for the main office block. The majority of the space across the development will be shared by all users.
Landscaping
A landscaping strategy has been developed for the site, which draws on the site setting and context. A full Environmental Impact Assessment has been carried out and shows that the development can be brought forward without any adverse environmental impact.
